Who We Are

Pathius Consulting Group was founded by Amen Pawar-LaRosa, whose career has been dedicated to alternative student transportation for nearly a decade. During that time, she has worked directly with school districts across multiple states, preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Bids (RFBs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).

Working from the vendor side of the procurement process gave Amen a valuable perspective on how alternative student transportation is specified, evaluated, and ultimately delivered. It also revealed an opportunity: while procurement teams are highly skilled, alternative student transportation presents operational and regulatory complexities that are often unlike those of other transportation services.

Pathius Consulting Group was created to provide school districts with specialist expertise in this highly specialized field. By bringing practical industry knowledge into the procurement process, we help districts develop clear, comprehensive requirements that support informed decision-making, encourage consistent vendor responses, and lay the foundation for successful long-term partnerships.
